Solving big problems, enabling big growth
GapCap aims to solve the common cash flow problem felt by SMEs. We achieve this by removing the time lag between when you raise an invoice and when you are actually paid by your customer. This gives you the short-term finance you need to grow.
We see our clients as partners not simply customers. We develop real relationships with them to find the right cashflow finance solutions to suit their needs.
From inception in June 2014, GapCap has gone from strength to strength. With more and more SMEs looking for alternatives to traditional banks, GapCap provides a smart alternative for entrepreneurial and growing businesses.

When Alex worked with SMEs in private equity, he realised just how many successful businesses struggled to achieve their potential simply because of poor cashflow. Aiming to solve this problem, in June 2014 he founded GapCap.
Alex’s goal is to make cashflow finance as accessible and simple as possible. The GapCap focus is firmly on removing the headaches associated with traditional invoice finance and providing a product that allows businesses to thrive.
The team is driven to deliver effective finance to growing UK businesses in the best possible way. By using smart technology, GapCap ensure they deliver a personal and hands-on service to help clients navigate the alternative finance world.
